Cathy Gould-Harrison (Founder/Director)charrison@jumpintoreading.net

Founder of Jump Into Reading, Cathy oversees all JIR operations from start to finish. With 24 years of educational experience, she possesses a California Teaching Credential, Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master of Arts Degree in Reading Instruction.  Cathy has been a classroom teacher within Stockton, Lincoln, and Lodi Unified School Districts, taught at the college level for St. Mary's College, Fresno Pacific University, and San Joaquin County IMPACT program. In addition to overseeing JIR management operations, she continues to be an integral part of recruiting, training, and networking in all aspects.  Cathy's role is fundamental to the direction the corporation operates.

Tina Franco (Office Supervisor)

Tina graduated college with her Administrative Business Degree and provides our Corporate Office with administrative organization. She oversees all employment documentation requirements, attendance collection, timesheet and payroll preparation, invoicing, and data collection. Tina also communicates with staff and school districts on behalf of Jump Into Reading and always possesses the highest level of professionalism.  Tina has proven to be loyal, dependable, and a definite asset for Jump Into Reading as she enters her 4th season!

 

Ann Leale (Coordinator / Administrative Assistant I)

Ann joined us to provide her broad experience as an SES Coordinator and is held in high regard by her colleagues!  Her many skills include: marketing, organizing, filing, maintaining supplies,  managing enrollment, and collecting assessment scores. Ann's experience in communicating with tutors and administration, as well as her networking ties is an excellent match for us and she is embarking upon her second season with us! 

 

Michelle Ruiz-Esparza (Spanish Translator)

Michelle has been invaluable for Jump Into Reading! Serving in her 3rd year as a Spanish Translator, Michelle is available for contacting parents and remaining on call for all of our after hour translation needs.  She is professional, timely, and possesses a strong work ethic.  If you need to contact Michelle, please call her at 209-981-8350.

 

Aldah Johnson (Payroll Administrator)

Aldah offers her bookkeeping expertise to our operation. She handles all of our payroll checks and corporation book keeping.  Aldah brings over 20 years of experience and with her organization, calm and cool demeanor, we are most definitely provided with stability in our accounting department!

 

Area Coordinators:

Our area coordinators are all credentialed teachers; many who possess additional certificates and degrees in literacy. They are responsible to provide training and staff development for the tutors they support as well as coordinate and manage school operations between tutors, parents, students, and school site personnel. Their role is fundamental in qualifying organization, all to the benefit of the students we serve. With our coordinators on board, we know we possess the highest level of accountability and expertise!
